George + Georgette – Abington Friends Meeting Wedding

About 12 years ago, I moved for a brief 9 months to a wonderful neighborhood in Glenside. My next door neighbor was Georgette and her beautiful daughter Alexandra. After I moved back to Mt. Airy we would occasionally bump into each other, catch up and then more years would pass until the next time we met. We would check in on how the kids were doing, our love lives and marvel at how strangely our lives in some ways were on parallel paths. Read more…

Mary-Helen + Tim – Villanova and The Philadelphia Country Club

You know it’s going to be a wonderful day when the couple you are photographing took some of the most amazing engagement photos and they have a dog named Doug! Mary-Helen and Tim chose Villanova, a place close to their hearts, for their ceremony. They did not see each other before the wedding and we were all crossing our fingers that the predicted rain would hold out for our formals. It did and they followed the wedding with a beautiful reception at The Philadelphia Country Club and a surprise guest appearance from Douglas their adorable Jack Russell Terrier. Face the Occasion was on hand for picture perfect makeup and Dough Main, one of my favorites, made the cake. Once again I had the pleasure of again working with Pam Conly who planned for the couple to exit at the end of the night with the band and their guests, and into their future!
